Upon joining, members will earn an immediate reward for 25% off their check (Up to $25) as our way of thanking you for becoming a member of our rewards program. It will be awarded to your account immediately upon joining.
How to Earn Reward Points
Members will earn 10 Reward points for every $1 that they spend (not including sales tax). For every 1000 points earned, you will be rewarded $10 in credit to use during any visit to Mexican Inn Café or Shady Oak Barbeque. Your points and reward dollars may be accumulated and used at any time. You can track your reward points by logging in to your account. Neither reward points or reward credits ever expire!
Birthday and Anniversary of Joining Rewards
During your birthday month, you will receive a complimentary entrée of your choice. You may claim your birthday reward during any day of your birthday month. Also, on the day celebrating the anniversary of your joining, you will receive a complimentary entrée of your choice. You may claim your anniversary reward for up to 30 days after the anniversary of your joining.

Will I receive a physical card?
No, all of our members cards are full virtual and there are no physical cards necessary – just use give the phone number you used to create your account or download the app and check-in when visiting one of our locations!
What do I do if I already signed up for MyCafe with Mexican Inn?
Great News! You are already registered with our new Rewards Program. You should have received an email to reset your password. Please follow the within the email and reset your password and add a phone number to your account following the instructions within the email.
Does DoorDash, UberEats, or any other 3rd party delivery system count as points?
No. Technically those customers are customers of the 3rd party delivery company and not Mexican Inn Café or Shady Oak Barbeque. The 3rd Party platform is a go between.
Can members earn points from Online Ordering?
Not today as it stands. They would need to submit a missing points request from our website.
Do Gift Card purchases count towards points?
No, purchasing a gift card is an exchange of currency. Essentially, they are exchanging US Dollars for restaurant credit. However, if they use a gift card to pay, then they will receive points for that transaction.
I was close to a 1000 points, but now when I log in I do not have any points, did I lose them?
After you earn 1000 points, you will be awarded a $10 credit to your rewards account to spend on the visit of your choosing. The counter then resets for your next 1000 points. The reward credit will be visible as an earned reward on your account page. You may log in and check your rewards by clicking here.
When using my earned rewards dollars, can I choose the amount I want to apply to my next visit?
If you choose to use your earned reward credits on your visit, it will apply any earned reward credit up to the amount of the check. For example, if you have earned $20 in reward credit, and your check is $13.00. It will apply $13.00 of your reward credit to your check and you will have $7.00 in reward credit remaining. If your bill is $25.00, it will apply all $20 of your reward credit to your check, and your check will have a remaining $5 balance.
